Corn is a common food that be eaten by each individual. Normally, the corn is cooked by boiling or baking. In some parts of Indonesia, corn is often used as an alternative to food or rice because it contains high carbohydrate. Corn is rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins B and C, carotene, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, omega 6, and unsaturated fat that helps keep lower cholesterol. 



In addition, by eaten corn not only keep your body healthy by providing a variety of nutrients, but it also can make suitable diet for those want lose their weight. The benefits of corn are

1. Can lose weight
Coarse fiber found in corn will provide a feeling of fullness longer and is ideal for those who want to lose weight. This is because the role of corn or rice for supplying carbohydrates to provide energy to an individual.

Did you know that corn can smoothen urine? In a corn containing potassium diuretic which can help to avoid irritation of urine, thus helping the smooth running of urine into the urinary tract and reduce the muscle pain that able to formation of kidney stone.

The content beta karoten and fiber contained in corn cause the individual will not develop cancer. Most importantly, corn also contain protease inhibitors that can prevent the formation of cancer cells.  

4. Heart Attack
Corn is also believed to prevent heart disease. Intake of corn not only lose weight, but also can prevent fatty build up that can cause heart attacks. In addition, soluble fiber contained in corn also can lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Folic acid content in corn also can lower homocysteine ​​levels which can lead to heart attacks.
