Visit Ipoh

There many awesome places in Ipoh but some of them are Gerbang Malam and Loken. From the places that I mention before, I think that some of you know where the location right. It’s true that many of you are wondering where the best places to visit in Ipoh. Therefore, I suggesting this two places, Gerbang Malam and Loken.

Gerbang Malam is located in Jalan Tahwil Azhar and start the operating hours are from 9 p.m until 1 a.m. Gerbang malam have same concept with uptown market where we can buy anything such as shades, perfume, rings, clothes, reflexology, art and others. Furthermore, the prices at this places are also cheaper compare to others mall.

Other than that, the best places that I suggest is Loken. This places also known as Memory Lane, Jalan Horley and Pasar Karat. When talk about pasar karat, I assume that many of you will remember the ‘Rope Walk’ or Jalan Pintal in Pulau pinang right? It’s might same with Loken but Loken are five time bigger than ‘Rope Walk’ in Pulau Pinang. Before that, Loken is located in Jalan Horley and the operating hours are 7 a.m until 1 p.m. There many thing are sale in Loken such as old things (radio, fan), scarf, bundle, traditional medicine (tongkat ali, madu gunung), antic things, belt and others.

So, I strongly recommended to all of you to come and visit Ipoh. Make this two places as compulsory places to visit. You will never regret.

Tips in Friendship

  • Love

Love is the main element in friendship. Friendship ties will be easily broken if there is no love between two people. Thus, we should express our love to our friend with saying ‘uhibbuka or I fillah’ (for those who same gender) so that they know how love are we towards them, for the sake of ALLAH S.W.T.

  • Sincerity

Sincerity in friendship will get a blessing and mercy from ALLAH. If we not sincerity in friendship, it will result to hostility between our friend. We should friends with someone because of his integrity and manners but not because of his appearance, position and properties that he own.

  • Loyalty

Loyalty in friendship will be last longer even though they rarely met. If we loyal to our friends, we will be remembered for our lifetime because no matter how difficult or easy it is, we remain loyal to his side.

  •          Bravery / Courage

Courage in telling the truth. In friendship, we must brave to tell something. Especially when we do something that might hurt their feeling. We should brave to confess our fault. Besides that, we also must be brave to give advice to our friend because of course we want the best for them right?

  • Honesty

Don’t ever to cheat or hide anything from our friends. They deserve to know what had we gone through in our life. Don’t keep any secret from them unless something that really private and confidential.

  •           Forgiveness

If our friend had done anything wrong, forgive them no matter how big their fault. It is because, a good friend will always forgive their friend and vice versa.

  •          Happiness

Share our happiness with our lovely friends. Shall not we see a beautiful smile etched on their facial features? Their happiness means our happiness too.

  •         Sadness

When we realize that our friend are sad, then we should follow along with them. Offer our shoulder as places for they cry. Maybe at that time, nobody will they find beside our friend.

HISTORY OF ROTU UTHM

The origin of the Reserve Officers Training Unit began on April 3rd 1965 with the establishment of the 1st infantry battalion branch of the reserve army at the University of Malaya. It started as a reaction and concern of the staff and students of University of Malaya with regards to the confrontation with Indonesia in 1963.

At its formation stage 30 students from different faculties underwent an elementary recruit course at Seputih training camp in Batu Gajah Perak during their term break. Most of these students had a military or police background, and they were all former students of the royal military college.             The high spirit shown by these students of higher learning prompted the then Director of the reserve army, Brigadier General Dato’ Abul As Bin Ismail to initiate discussion with Vice Chancellors  of all the universities to establish the Reserved Officers Training Unit or ROTU.

ASSALAMMUALAIKUM....

Today post i would like to share some my reading about an insect or best known as "BUG". Ants are common insects, but they have some unique capabilities. More than 10,000 known ant species occur around the world. They are especially prevalent in tropical forests, where they may be up to half of all the insects living in some locations.

Ants look much like termites, and the two are often confused especially by nervous homeowners. However, ants have a narrow "waist" between the abdomen and thorax, which termites do not. Ants also have large heads, elbowed antennae, and powerful jaws. These insects belong to the order Hymenoptera, which includes wasps and bees.
Enthusiastically social insects, ants typically live in structured nest communities that may be located underground, in ground-level mounds, or in trees. Carpenter ants nest in wood and can be destructive to buildings. Some species, such as army ants, defy the norm and do not have permanent homes, instead seeking out food for their enormous colonies during periods of migration.
Ant communities are headed by a queen or queens, whose function in life is to lay thousands of eggs that will ensure the survival of the colony. Workers (the ants typically seen by humans) are wingless females that never reproduce, but instead forage for food, care for the queen's offspring, work on the nest, protect the community, and perform many other duties.
Male ants often have only one role mating with the queen. After they have performed this function, they may die.
Ants communicate and cooperate by using chemicals that can alert others to danger or lead them to a promising food source. They typically eat nectar, seeds, fungus, or insects. However, some species have diets that are more unusual. Army ants may prey on reptiles, birds, or even small mammals.
One Amazon species (Allomerus decemarticulatus) cooperatively builds extensive traps from plant fiber. These traps have many holes and, when an insect steps on one, hundreds of ants inside use the openings to seize it with their jaws.
Another species, the yellow crazy ant (Anoplolepis gracilipes), is capable of forming so-called supercolonies that house multiple queens. On Australia’s Christmas Island, the accidental introduction of yellow crazy ants in the early 20th century has led to a destructive infestation. The ants are a significant threat to the island’s endemic population of red crabs, which are displaced by the ants from their burrows or killed as they pass through ant nest sites during the crabs' large-scale annual migration from the forest to the coast.
